S. Raghbir Singh Ji Roshan was my brother–in-law. We knew each other since 1954. He came to Cardiff in 1961 and was married Bibi Amar Kaur in 1964, his father Late S. Khera Singh Jangi came to Britain in 1949, but his mother Mata Agiya Kaur Landey passed away in Jaipur in 1950.
Raghbir Singh was a very hard-working person he started working in a firm called Curran and he worked there for over 25 years and became in-charge hand over 15 working people in his section. He always had love for pigeon’s even when he was in India, when he came here he even used to breed racing pigeon’s in his back garden even canaries, his mantel piece is full of cups.
He passed away on 18th December 2019 has left behind 2 sons and 3 daughters and many grandchildren as well as great grandchildren.
Raghbir Singh was a very polite man always attended the Gurdwara, but passed away too early it was not time for him to go yet, but all human beings are under the command of our Waheguru he sends them here and then he calls them back, but Raghbir Singh Roshan will always be remembered and we pray to our Waheguru to please keep him at your abode and give enough courage to his wife and all the children who he loved so much to bear his never forgetful loss, and give lots and lots of happiness to them.
Thinking about you all the time your’s Jaswant Singh ‘Jas’
